SCHOOL UNIFORM
All children should wear our school uniform
The school colours are red sweatshirts, cardigans or jumpers, with a grey or black skirt or trousers and a white t-shirt or shirt.
In the warm weather, pupils can wear their white t-shirt or shirt with grey or black shorts or a skirt. Pupils may also choose to wear a red checked dress. It would also be acceptable for pupils to wear shalwar kameez either in grey or black.
Headwear, including hoods, must be removed when entering the school building unless they are part of the child’s religion. All pupils should come to school dressed appropriately for weather conditions.

Jewellery
The only jewellery permitted in school is stud earrings and watches. Necklaces can only be worn for religious reasons and these should not be exposed. It is advised that these are not worn on PE days.
P.E.
At Upton Cross, the children usually have PE twice a week: one indoor and one outdoor lesson. If children are not sure about the days they have PE, please check with your child’s class teacher when this will be.
For health and safety reasons, we do not allow children to wear jewellery. The exceptions to this rule are stud earrings in pierced ears, and small objects of religious significance. Children are required to remove any items during PE lessons to prevent them from causing injury.
Children must come to school on their PE days dressed in their PE kit. This clothing must be the designated school kit (as above).
